I was born in San Francisco, California. Both of my parents were schitzophrenic and unable to take care of me. So the state put me up for adoption. In 1978 Congress passed the Indian Child Welfare Act which granted tribes the right to oversee adoption of indian children. I thank God! Because of this I was adopted by a family in Oklahoma who had a heart to secure my identity as an indian boy. They had me named, they took me to powwows, and they encouraged my native ways. One of the ceremonies I went through was the Lakota adoption ceremony at 12. When I was 19 I found myself in jail and in my jail cell I was adopted by God the Father into the family of God. My life is one of adoption.
Its my dream to be a Husband and a Father. To have a family. To break off the curse from the boarding schools over my families generations. To model family for my Indian people and be a driving force to help break poverty and the curse from the boarding schools off the lives of the families among my people. I dream that Jesus will restore the powerful giving and strength of the family structure my people once had. Once this foundation is laid for the generations then I dream of... just ask me.

A poem I wrote from my mother's perspective on my testimony. The change and transformation Jesus has done in my life and what she went through in the process. When I read it to her, she cried and said, "How did you know how I felt?"
These old rap words were going through my head one morning so I just flipped em and turned it into a song about the new heaven, new earth, and new Jerusalem! Behold! He is making everything new!
